Montefeltro Festival is now in its 21st edition, and this year it is dedicated to opera.
2024 for Italian opera is a new beginning because UNESCO finally recognised 'Italian opera singing' as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity on 6 December.
Opera singing that for the Accademia Lirica internazionale - Fonetica italiana per il Belcanto', for the Montefeltro Festival connected to it and for the various international partners is the Alpha and the Omega.

A stage of the Montefeltro Festival will be in Cattolica on Tuesday 16 July with "Le Nozze di Figaro" by W.A. Mozart, in Piazza Mercato, a place in the historic centre known to the whole city.
